Digital Detox Week.

Well I really dropped the ball this week, I just found out that this is 'Digital Detox Week'. A week of laying aside technology and going back to a much simpler time, a time when we as a people sat and read more, talked to our fellow humans, and a time when technology did not rule our lives! Right, as if that will take off. I can see were some people think that technology is controlling our lives more and more and that we run the risk of having computers take over the planet. Personally that is hogwash. Computers and robots will never ever rule over humanity. Why? Computers cannot build themselves and they require power, cutoff the power and they die! Plus computers don't have the intelligence that humans have they cannot reason, in other words they cannot solve problems on their own, all they can do is spit out responses to what has been inputted into them. Anyway during the past digital detox weeks some have flipped out, take the 16yr old boy who killed his parents because they took away his Xbox 360. This kid had been playing Halo3 for 18 hours a day and they felt that was too much time spent gaming, I would have to agree with them, so he took a gun went into their bedroom and said he had a surprise for them and then shot them in the head. This kid got life in prison, later commuted to 23 yrs to life. Sure some can make an argument for needing a digital detox week but in reality it doesn't do a darn thing. We need technology like we need food and water. Do you really want to go back to the way things used to be? I know I don't want to go backwards, we have progressed and technology has come along for the ride with us. We need technology.

Cults & Threats. Am I scared? NO FREAKING WAY DUDE! In fact, bring it on!

Okay I have been extremely busy the past few weeks, my dad came for a visit and I drove him home and stayed there for a few days, bought a new to us car and he came back to Texas with me, I then drove him to Houston to visit his youngest brother who has been ill then took him home. All in all, he was here for about 6 weeks, and to tell the truth I miss him a lot. I got used to him being around and now that he is back in Oklahoma I am back to being alone during the day. Any way just because I was on a slight holiday does not mean that insanity and lack of sense took a break too. (I wish) Today's post though is all about cults as it seems a couple have popped up their ugly heads in the news recently, namely the most infamous is the 'One Mind Ministry' cult run by Queen Antoinette . This freak has no disregard for life especially the lives of children as she and two other cult leaders were convicted of 2^nd degree murder charges in the starving death of a 16-month-old child. (The victim not the cult, we all know that the cults are insane and so are the leaders of these groups. Yes, I am hoping that one of them will try to sue me for defamation or slander or some such charge! Or at least threaten me with harm, as if I am scared of some incompetent and impotent freaks?!?! Bring it on!) Cults prey on the weak minded by offering them something they are missing in life, be it love, acceptance, a family or whatever. The cult figures it out then fills the void in the victim's life then the person realizes too late that the cult is what it is, a cult, and by that time, the victim has paid the cost, with their money or their life! There have been several memorable cults over the years, Charles Manson, Heaven's Gate, the Branch Davidians, the members of Jones Town. All have suckered in vulnerable people both young old and those in between. And in all of these examples the main theme and the common denominator has been blood! It seems the innocent always pay with their own or another's blood. So this post is dedicated to those who have survived a cult and to those who have died in cults. And if you are a cult leader then you sir or Madame YOU SUCK! You are nothing more than a parasite on the ass of humanity. Scumbag, slime ball, vomit eater! I normally abhor violence but cult leaders who kill innocents especially babies deserve death! Both in this life and in the next!
